We opened our first shop in 2020 — with no idea how many homes would come to depend on us seven years later. But every single project added something to what we know today.
Our first shop opened — and alongside it, full of enthusiasm, our design brand set out as well. We had no ready-made team and no ready-made process. In the first months we did almost everything ourselves: surveying, design, even the on-site installation and the joinery, because back then there was no one else to count on.
If you want a team to run well, first you have to know the work yourself.
We opened a space in Budapest as well. Our design-and-installation team grew steadily from day one — and slowly our work was no longer only about kitchens, but about creating entire homes.
The more of us there were, the more carefully we guarded what had connected us at the start.
This was the year we grew by 300%: we worked through 120 projects — mostly with custom furniture, from kitchens to complete home furnishing. And meanwhile our Budapest showroom opened its doors.
Growth is only a number — the many lessons it brought stayed with us.
We were running two premises while the market swung. In place of simpler commissions, large, complex homes increasingly landed on our desks — and we had to admit: with two shops and this much complexity at once, something had to change.
Not every year is about solving the problem. Some years only show you where change is needed.
We reached a crossroads: either open another shop and work at volume — or return to the fundamentals and give every client the attention and quality we had started all this for. We chose the latter. Our first shop was taken over by a colleague who had run it with heart all along — and we regained our focus. Because we felt it: quality matters more than growth.
Sometimes the way forward is returning to what you began it all for.
We built out our premium design service. We carried the complete design of 30 properties through — in 7 cases together with the furnishing and guidance through realisation. And meanwhile we felt again what we had set out for in 2020: every home has a soul. Our job is simply to find it.
We were present in every detail again — and that was worth more than anything.
This year, 16 enquiries for the design of complete homes arrived within a single month. We sat down, calculated our capacity, and structured the way we work so that quality does not slip even when several projects run in parallel. By the second half of the year our internal client support portal was born as well. We have not arrived anywhere — this is a process, and every year of it teaches us something.
In seven years we did not learn how to be faster. We learned how to stay precise when we have to speed up.
Over seven years we made mistakes of our own. We miscalculated costs, we trusted a contractor we shouldn’t have. But those experiences became our strictest teachers.
They are why we built a support system that goes beyond the usual design services — so that what is born on the plans can come true in reality as well. We are not the contractor, and we are not the joinery either. But over the years we learned first-hand everything that lets us help you towards your new home today.
The lesson of hundreds of projects: most unpleasant surprises are not born during construction — they are decided at the moment of design, they just aren’t visible yet.
That is why at consultations we talk about more than the plans. We share what to watch for and what challenges may come — and with every plan we think through whether the solution that looks beautiful on paper can be built in reality. If a joinery question comes up, we call our joiner partners. If it is a mechanical or demolition question, we consult the contractors we have worked with for years.
And when we recommend a contractor or a joiner, it is never by default. We are committed to no single brand — we help you find the best choice for you.

On most of our projects we carry the design through — the finished plans are realised by you or your contractor, at your own pace.
After handing over the finished plans we hold 1–2 further meetings about the questions that come up along the way. The realisation stays in your hands.
On a few projects we see the process through from design to realisation. This is always agreed in advance, under a separate quote, in detail and transparently.
If your joiner or contractor has a question along the way, you needn’t worry about reaching us — we schedule a half-hour consultation and go through the questions together. It matters to us that what we design on paper is buildable in reality — and gets built.
